IDAHO WOMEN'S CHARITABLE FOUNDATION GRANT AWARDED TO LOCAL AGENCIES TO HELP TEACH FINANCIAL LITERACY TO VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE The Idaho Women's Charitable Foundation (IWCF) has awarded Treasure Valley Domestic Violence Collaboration, a group of local agencies, a grant of $26,500 to support a new project titled the Treasure Valley Economic Action Plan that will provide financial literacy training and education to victims of domestic violence in the Treasure Valley. Boise Businesswoman Redesigns Multipurpose Room at Local Shelter. Two years ago Irene Woodworth, owner of the Color and Redesign Institute and formally trained interior designer, took the “If These Walls Could Talk” informational tour at the Women’s and Children’s Alliance in downtown Boise. After the tour she knew that she would someday help the WCA in her own unique way and that someday came this winter. More

'CHANGE FOR CHILDREN' RAISES MONEY AND AWARENESS
Radio personality Amber Lee from WOW Country 104.3 FM spent three hours yesterday wrapping gifts at the Women’s and Children’s Alliance. She has the paper cuts to prove it. Amber Lee and her other radio station colleagues, The Outlaw and Tarzan Dan, took the month of November to hit the streets on their own time and ask people to donate to the WCA.
