Back to School Sponsorship Program Recap

Back to School can be a stressful and expensive time for families, especially for our clients. However, thanks to the support of generous individual and corporate donors, 38 WCA client families (82 children) received needed backpacks, school supplies, clothing and gift cards for the 2019-2020 school year. Dedicated volunteers assisted donors with the dropping off of supplies and helped clients with pick ups from August 7 – 16. Clients were overwhelmed with gratitude and each wrote anonymous thank you cards to their generous sponsor to let them know how much their support means to their family.

One client expressed her thankfulness in a particularly eloquent way:

“All of the gold in Fort Knox is but a dim lit light in comparison to how much this means to me.”

Our sincere appreciation to all the individual and corporate donors who made this school year so special for our clients: Albertsons, Brighton Homes, First Interstate Bank, Givens Pursely, Hawley Troxell, HP, Idaho State Department of Education, Idaho Power, KPMG, McMillen Jacobs Associates, Nextitle, Old Navy, Perfect Plumbing Heating & Air, Pioneer Title, Simplot, SNOW Block Alley, Stolz Group and The Amalgamated Sugar Company.
