As I start my sixth month as the Philanthropy Manager at The WCA, I am grateful for the extremely warm welcome I have received from our community. I am pleased to have met so many of our supporters–either in person or virtually through our “Bea Informed” sessions. This has given me an opportunity to meet many of the dedicated people who help make the WCA what it is today.
My hope is that everyone who seeks help from the WCA feels the same warm welcome that was extended to me. We at the WCA pledge to serve and support anyone who needs our services–inclusive of all sexual orientations, religion, gender identities, races, ethnicities, or ability.
What has been of particular comfort has been seeing the diversity of our supporter base. This diversity is reflected in the survivors that we serve. We take pride in knowing that our services are available to anyone who has experienced domestic abuse or sexual assault.
If I have not managed to meet you yet, I hope we can connect in the coming months so I can continue to meet more of our amazing supporters and keep you informed of the work the WCA continues to do to achieve our mission of bringing safety, healing and freedom from domestic abuse and sexual assault to all.
