Corporate Pillar Spotlight: Two Men and a Truck
We are so grateful for the support from our WCA Corporate Pillars. One extraordinary supporter is Terry Bruns, owner of Boise’s Two Men and a Truck franchise. Terry and his team’s assistance with the move of furniture and many important items from our main office to our shelter campus is so appreciated. Terry’s idea five years ago was to take Two Men and a Truck’s assistance one step further and provide free confidential moves to the WCA’s shelter clients moving to their new homes. It’s a life changing gift to our clients, a cost that would be very prohibitive. Two Men and a Truck’s staff is kind and compassionate and always willing to literally go the extra mile to make our clients feel safe and secure.
Why does Terry choose to support the WCA?
It just seems like something we should do, kind of like breathing, we just do it. I can’t imagine having the capacity to help the WCA and not doing it. I feel everyone should have the opportunity to have a safe and secure place to live, a place to go after a day of work, or school and such and just be themselves without fear. No one should live in fear. If someone does not have that it is important that we help them to achieve it and that is just what the WCA does. I really feel like I am the lucky one here because we have the ability to provide help in some small way that allows you all to do what you do, the hard work. It is an honor to help and I never feel like we contribute enough.
Beautiful words from a wonderful man who truly makes our WCA world a much safer place. We so appreciate everything owner Terry Bruns and his remarkable Two Men and a Truck staff do to enhance the lives of our WCA clients.
