Gathering outcome data on program services has become increasingly important. It not only allows funders to assess whether their financial support of a program/project is money well-spent but, for program staff, whether the delivery of a particular service is making a difference (answering that perennial question – so what?) in the lives of their clients. Outcome measurements help organizations measure their success and, ultimately, the effectiveness of their efforts. The WCA has incorporated a number of outcome measures which are underscored by 1 or more indicators. They capture a broad range of data and are part of the agency’s emphasis on accountability.
