Movers for Moms

Mother’s Day is a special time where moms worldwide should feel loved and appreciated. For many women, this may not be the case as this holiday may be overlooked due to finances, personal struggles, or living situations where they’re relying on the support of shelters or other organizations due to homelessness or domestic abuse.

To ensure moms in need receive the love and appreciation they deserve this Mother’s Day, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Boise is hosting its annual Movers for Moms® campaign to provide essential care items to the Women’s & Children’s Alliance (WCA). The collection campaign runs March 1 – April 3.

This year, the Boise moving company is teaming up with local community partners like, Les Schwab and Fred Meyers, to collect essential care items for the WCA. The community can drop off donations at Treasure Valley Les Schwab locations from March 1 – April 3. 

We are also partnering with Fred Meyer stores to host a one-day collection day
on April 3 from 10 AM – 7 PM at these locations:

Fred Meyer, Five Mile, 10751 W. Overland, Rd , Boise 

Fred Meyer, Fairview, 1850 E, Fairview Avenue, Meridian

Fred Meyer, Glenwood, 5425 W. Chinden Blvd, Garden City 

Fred Meyer, Eagle Island 1400 W Chinden Blvd, Meridian

This spring marks the ninth year Two Men And A Truck Boise has been running Movers for Moms and last year we collected 1,898 donations. This year we hope to exceed that number and collect 3,000 items for the WCA.

Movers for Moms is TWO MEN AND A TRUCK’s annual giving campaign and started off as a statewide program in Michigan back in 2007, in 2014 it became a national program for all U.S. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK locations. Last year we had our most successful campaign to date with more than 443,000 donations between all the U.S. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK locations. This year, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK’s goal is to help more moms in need across the country and collect 500,000 items all together.
