Hello Ambassadors!
DVAM has come to an end and we cannot thank you enough for all the phenomenal service you provided to spread the word and increase the visibility of our organization and services. Your involvement in both our Be the Hope campaign and the Healing Begins with Hope event was deeply impactful. A HUGE shoutout to all our Ambassadors who shared their story or our logos or put together watch parties bringing people together to hear Ariel’s story of survival. We THANK YOU. With our match, we raised just shy of $400,000. Cheers to you for all your hard work and to our community for stepping up to support the WCA. Your support helps bring safety and hope to individuals experiencing domestic abuse and sexual assault in our community. You make a difference.

We will be hosting an Ambassador and Volunteer Holiday Party on Thursday, December 9, 2021, from 5 – 7 p.m. at the downtown WCA location. We will be decorating ornaments for the shelter holiday tree, taking a walk-through tour of the downtown facility and putting together gift packages for our client advocates at the shelter.

In the last 2 months, we helped stock the shelter pantry to help provide snacks and shelf food for shelter clients. Thank you to the shelter staff and downtown staff for all your generosity and care. In December, we are creating our shelter party packs for our extraordinary Client Advocates! Our Client Advocates are vitally important to our mission of providing safety, healing and freedom. They make a safe and welcoming environment in our shelter for our clients. This year, I thought it would be a great opportunity to make our party/holiday packs for them!
