October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. While we have had to move our events to a virtual environment, we are still working hard to create conversations and awareness on domestic abuse. This conversation is more important than ever. Home is not safe for everyone. We encourage you to share our information with others.
We know that incidences of domestic violence increase during times of crisis.We want to reiterate that you are not alone, our doors are open, and we are here to help. Our 24-hr hotlines are available, and our building at 720 W Washington St. is open from 8:30-4pm, Monday-Friday. Our court advocates are here to help with civil protection orders.
