Clothesline Project 2021 Recap

24-Hour Domestic Violence Hotline: 208.343.7025 24-hour Rape Crisis Hotline: 208.345.7273 (RAPE)

This year the Clothesline Project was a huge success, and we couldn’t have done it without the immense community support. It was amazing to see Clothesline displays in locations across the Treasure Valley, especially after the pandemic prevented us from doing so last year.

Numbers-wise, this year was incredible. We had 26 participants and nearly 300 shirts displayed in the cities of Boise, Garden City, Caldwell, Star, Eagle, and Meridian. Having a Clothesline Project display at the Ada County Courthouse (pictured above) showed solidarity with and support for victims and survivors who needed to go through those doors. Because of the county-wide displays, we were able to get our message out to survivors that they are not alone, that abuse is never okay, and the WCA is here to help.

Huge thanks to all those who participated in making this year’s Clothesline Project one of the best yet.
