CenterCal Properties excels in and is best known for creating destinations with a unique strategy of placemaking, which emphasizes the importance of developing spaces with a sense of community. The Village at Meridian is comprised of nearly 100 restaurants, retailers, entertainment venues and executive offices. The many businesses at The Village at Meridian partner with the WCA for events such as Witches’ Night Out and Holiday Gift Drives for our shelter clients.

Deborah Smith, Marketing & Business Development Manager at The Village at Meridian is instrumental in making these events huge successes, not only for the benefit they provide to the WCA, but also for the extraordinary community involvement and outreach they create.  Through Deborah’s efforts The Village at Meridian has been awarded prestigious honors such as ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers) Gold MAXI for marketing excellence, Foundation Award, (as a result donated $5,000 to WCA) and a SASI-ONE award. (Shop America Salutes Innovation).
