Lanie (right in the photo), inspired her sister Sam, and mom Sarah, to raise money to support WCA clients by making and selling beautiful headbands. Lanie, budding entrepreneur that she is, cleverly set up a booth at an eclipse watching party in Smith’s Ferry to raise even more funds (she made $110 in less than an hour!) Lanie and her family stopped by to drop off the donation and show us her handiwork. One staff member was so impressed, she bought one of Lanie’s headbands! We are so grateful to Lanie and her family for supporting our mission and helping spread awareness.
