It’s No More Week 2021, and we want you to know that change happens here! In regards to violence prevention, I think it is critical that we ground ourselves in the belief that we can create change.

Sometimes it can be overwhelming to see the violence happening in the world and not feel helpless, or that it will always be this way. But we can decide to do things differently, to not accept things as they are because that is how they have always been.

Each small step toward making a change on an individual level can have a ripple effect on our relationships, the community and eventually society. I challenge you to commit to taking one action this week toward ending violence. Here are some of the things you could do:
