Corrin Covington
I am a soon to be graduate of Boise State, studying Psychology and Marketing and am currently a Communications Coordinator Intern. I am excited to gain experience through my internship this semester at the WCA and love having the opportunity to contribute to the community in a very meaningful way. In my free  time I love to hike, cycle, cook, and travel!

Jessica Hebner
Hi! My name is Jessica. I am a senior at Boise State University studying for a bachelor’s degree in Public Health with an emphasis in Health Education and Promotion. This semester I am working with Becca as an intern for the Outreach department. My goal with this internship is to make a difference in helping the WCA’s mission and take as much as I can from this experience. One thing I enjoy doing is traveling and exploring new places which hopefully we will all be able to do again soon!

Kendra Johnson
I’m a senior at Boise State University graduating with my bachelors in Psychology. I hope to attend graduate school and become a mental health counselor. I hope to take away a few things from my internship, first being connections. I really enjoy working with everyone so far and I’m having a lot of fun meeting everyone at the office. I also hope to take away some new skills! There are a lot of things I’ve been introduced to so far, like Bloomerang, that could be very beneficial for me in my future career! Some activities I like to do are anything outdoors in the summer! I love going on picnics, hiking, laying in my hammock, painting outside, all things summer (can you tell I’m excited about it?) I do love winter as well, I’ve recently been getting into snowshoeing and I’ve been loving that!

Maddie Corey
My name is Maddie Corey and I am a marketing major at Boise State University and will be graduating this spring. I aspire to work in a communications, marketing, and/or outreach capacity for nonprofit organizations for causes I am passionate about. I want to be a part of the process to help raise awareness to prevent and help those facing mental illness, eating disorders, or abuse once I graduate. As an intern at the WCA, I want to continue learning how to bring awareness to both domestic abuse and the WCA. While I am a communications intern, I would love to learn more about the donation and fundraising side of operating a nonprofit. In my free time I love doing yoga, cooking,  and rollerblading on the greenbelt. I also love animals and grew up with five cats and two dogs.

Tessa Saywer
Hi! My name is Tessa Sawyer, I’m a junior at Boise State. I’m studying Political Science with an emphasis is American Government and Policy. I am hoping to pursue law school after I graduate from BSU next year. I wanted to work with the WCA as in intern because I am passionate about public service and raising awareness in the community. I am originally from Washington and in my free time I love to be outdoors hiking, playing with my dog, trying new restaurants, and reading.
