District 14 Democrats

Thanks to The District 14 Democrats who are hosting a donation drive for cleaning supply kits to be given to our clients when they are graduating from our shelter programs! Cleaning supplies can often be very expensive, but much-needed items for our survivors as they move into their new home. We appreciate the support!

Kids Choice Lemonade Sale for the WCA

The kindergarten class at Kids Choice had a lemonade sale to raise money for the WCA. They set a goal to raise a certain amount and surpassed it. Here is their class with their check and poster they created. We are so grateful for these young entrepreneurs who have so much excitement in learning how to support their community.

208 Market (Keller Williams)

For Keller Williams Red Day, our friends at 208 Market came in and did much-needed organizing of a cleaning product donation that will be gifted to clients exiting our shelter program. Thank you for taking the time to organize these products and helping this opportunity happen with ease.

Boise Women’s Disc Golf League

Thank you, Christie, and the members of Boise Women’s Disc Golf who came together to raise $2500 for the WCA! We are grateful for your support which helps us achieve our mission of safety, healing and freedom from domestic abuse and sexual assault.

Meridian Co-Op Gardeners

Thank You to this wonderful group for providing plants to brighten up our shelter! We appreciate you!

WCA Corporate Pillar Mai Thai Restaurant has been providing a delicious, freshly made dinner for the residential clients at our shelter campus each Friday night for the past several months. Owner and longtime friend of the WCA, Billy Pothikamjor often quotes the teachings of the Buddha when asked about his vast support of local nonprofits. He is a humble and compassionate man with a big heart, for which we are incredibly grateful. Mai Thai’s staff uses locally sourced ingredients when possible to create authentic Thai cuisine and the results are delicious. The dozens of women and children at the WCA each week treated to Friday dinner are grateful as are the WCA staff and board. Thank you, Billy and Mai Thai Staff for your ongoing support.

Two Men and a Truck, an amazing WCA Corporate Pillar, has supported the WCA through donation drives on Mother’s day and other times throughout the year for several years. However, their in-kind support of the WCA administrative needs and their help moving our clients over the years as they move to new homes after living at our secure safe shelter campus has been invaluable. In fact, just this past month, they helped two clients move forward into the next chapter, toward freedom, into new homes from the shelter… and we are so incredibly grateful. Thank you for sharing your time and talent to help our clients find their futures.
