Almost all of our funding comes to us in order to provide services to those who have suffered the trauma of domestic violence and sexual assault.
Yet we know that if we are ever to break the cycle we need to help prevent individuals from getting into these destructive and often violent relationships in the first place! That is why I am so pleased at the work that is being done by our Outreach Coordinator to engage our youth in discussions on how we can begin to make a significant difference in the health of our community as it relates to interpersonal relationships. We look forward to reporting on the results of this outreach as our “Champion” program begins to grow.
