As schools are getting ready to welcome kids back, the Philanthropy Team is ramping up for a busy end-of-year. I’m excited to introduce you to the newest members of the team! Alexander “Xander” Johnston joined us on July 25 as the Philanthropy Support Specialist. Megan Skinner will join us on August 16 as the CoXander staff photommunity Support Specialist.

Xander comes to us from St Luke’s Billing where he worked in their customer service and insurance denial work queues to clean up their system and organize outdated accounts. He graduated from Sonoma State University in 2016 with a BA in Psychology. Xander is quickly becoming our database guru and taking on more challenges every day.

Megan is giving the WCA a year of service through Jesuit Volunteer Corps Northwest, part of the AmeriCorps program. She hails from Grand Rapids, MI where she just graduated from AquinMeganas College with a BA in Elementary Education and Minor in Community Leadership. Megan will be working closely with our amazing volunteers and helping us engage the community on a deeper level with our mission.
