What do you do in your volunteer role at the WCA?

I volunteer in the thrift shop hanging and tagging clothes, organizing donations, and freshening up displays in the shop.

How long have you been a volunteer?

Over a year.

What do you find most rewarding about your work at the WCA?

I love socializing with the staff and other volunteers while I’m working. Everyone is dedicated to making the WCA shop the best thrift store in town. They take pride in all that they do and the shop is a reflection of their commitment. But admittedly, I also love a great find! We receive amazing donations from our generous community. If you haven’t checked it out yet, you should!

How have you changed or grown as a person through your work here?

Volunteering at the WCA has made me feel more a part of our community, of something bigger and connected in a way I hadn’t expected.
