24-Hour Domestic Abuse Hotline: 208.343.7025

EXIT

Volunteer Voice: June 2021

24-Hour Domestic Violence Hotline: 208.343.7025 24-hour Rape Crisis Hotline: 208.345.7273 (RAPE)

When you volunteer, how does it make you feel? Does this act bring about feelings of happiness, satisfaction, a sense of community or worth?

There have been studies that show that volunteering can bring about these feelings to an individual. Volunteering your time, resources and skills is one of the most powerful ways to make a difference, help others and increase your own sense of wellbeing at the same time. Volunteering also provides those same good feelings to the organization that’s being served. At the WCA, our volunteers increase these same feelings and more for our staff so that we have the means to better serve our clients. We want your volunteer experience at the WCA to be the best experience possible.

In June, we focus on the theme that healthy relationships are equal. We want to make certain that the time you spend at the WCA, helping us to forward our mission and vision, brings you the same joy that you bring to us. Please take a moment to fill out this volunteer assessment form to help us gauge your interest in the time you spend with us.

Thank you for all that you do at the WCA! I hope that June brings you happiness and equality.

With Gratitude,

Lupe Ingham
