Girl Scouts of Silver Sage offers the financial empowerment program to girls from kindergarten to high school seniors and provides them with the opportunity to build their business savvy and hone their financial literacy skills.
This is an exciting new partnership for our financial education program, and we have facilitated workshops for Daisies, Brownies, and Juniors in Troop 540. We have covered wants and needs, planning and budgeting, and setting goals. The girls have earned their badges for Savvy Shopper, Money Manager, and Money Counts.
We hope to continue this partnership with other troops, as well as providing workshops for Girl Scout volunteers at their upcoming conference in April.
