On January 27, 2018, Boise Band Lounge on Fire headlined a concert at the Neurolux and donated 25% of their merchandise sales to the WCA to support the free services provided to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in our community. They also invited the WCA’s Outreach team to attend for the evening and host a table with information about our free services for attendees to learn more.
However, this was not the only evening their generosity supported the WCA. Lounge on Fire was one of the local bands that generously donated their time and talent to appear on the fundraising holiday IdaHo Ho CD. After learning about the WCA and the community member we serve, they decided to donate 25% of merchandise sold at their events and online to the WCA’s direct client needs during December 2017 and January 2018.
A big shout out to the members of Lounge on Fire for these acts of compassion they have shown for members of the community impacted by domestic and sexual abuse. By supporting the work of the WCA, they are providing critical services for those in their own community. Bravo!
