Corporate Pillar Spotlight: Two Men and a Truck
 For the past six years, Two Men and a Truck have been an extraordinary sponsor of the Women’s and Children’s Alliance (WCA). They are always there for our shelter needs in moving items which is so beneficial to our clients.
During April and early May, Two Men and a Truck promoted its Movers for Moms campaign in honor of Mother’s Day. Businesses and organizations around the area collected essential care items including shampoos and conditioners, soaps, hair styling products, slippers and other important clothing needs as part of the Movers for Moms campaign initiative. The donations were wonderful.
When asked why he supports the WCA, Terry Bruns, owner of the Boise area Two Men and a Truck franchise, says “We believe so strongly that everyone should feel safe in their home and thus have a tremendous amount of respect for the work the WCA does to help their clients move toward that goal of being in a safe environment. We feel lucky to help in some small way.”

Our staff spotlight for June is Brandi Winter. Brandi is our Facility Manager at the Women’s and Children’s Alliance (WCA). As Facility Manager she ensures all three facilities are well maintained and up to code. She has worked in this role for two and half years.
Summer is a time for fun and play, it can also be a stressful time for some families. Parents that have demanding work schedules might have trouble finding affordable child care options in the summer or have to stretch that grocery budget for their growing kiddos. We also know that housing options in Boise are a concern for many families.
The Women’s and Children’s Alliance (WCA) was honored at the Boise Metro Chamber 2019 Small Business of the Year and Chamber Excellence Awards Luncheon on May 22 along with 23 other organizations from the area.
