The BeaLine February 2020

February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. 1 in 3 teens finds themselves in an abusive relationship, whether that’s sexual, physical, emotional—it’s a horrific statistic. One of the things that we do all year, but particularly during the month of February, is outreach to our junior highs and high schools. We have a presentation that focuses on healthy and unhealthy relationships, and an interactive simulation called, “In Their Shoes,” that allows participants to make decisions acting as a character who is in an unhealthy relationship. Something you can do to support this cause is to wear orange on February 11^th to bring attention to Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month.
