ESI Construction has been a marvelous Corporate Pillar. Neil Nelson and his staff have been extremely generous in coordinating and completing an in-kind and much-needed remodel of our secure shelter “Serena’s House” last May – which included new carpeting and laminate flooring and some amazing general repairs. This work, including donated time and materials from many sub-contractors, created an environment of greater peace and hope for our clients.
As Idaho’s largest privately owned contractor, ESI has 225 full-time employees. Recent local projects include the 18-story 8th and Main Tower in Boise, Scentsy Corporate Campus in Meridian, and Whole Foods in Boise.
One great perk of Neil’s generosity was meeting his wonderful wife Tyley Nelson, who has become a valuable member of the WCA board of directors. Many thanks to Neil and Tyley Nelson and his staff.
“Supporting the WCA is really a Nelson family affair. Neil was raised by a single mom and understands firsthand the challenges that come with such a tough undertaking. As a Nurse Practitioner, mother and community volunteer, it is my vision to drastically reduce the number of abuse cases in the state of Idaho. I have been a ‘protector of children’ as long as I can remember. I started babysitting in 4th grade, taught swimming at 15, life-guarded at 16, volunteered on the pediatric floor in college and worked as a nurse in the emergency room taking care of child abuse cases when they came in. Supporting the WCA through our volunteer work and financial contribution is an easy decision that aligns with our family’s core values,” said Tyley.
