As the holiday season approaches, I am reflecting on the unique challenges of 2020—both to my friends and family and to those I serve in my role at the WCA. While this holiday season will be different than what I am used to; I cherish the opportunity to reflect on what I have in my life, to find grace in unexpected places, and appreciate the simple things that we can all do to make someone’s day better and to stand in awe of our community’s continued support of our clients and staff. As we come together in new ways to celebrate the holidays, I want to thank you for the contributions you make, allowing us to continue critical work for domestic and sexual abuse survivors. Your generosity and support make possible the healing services that our clients need, and we are incredibly grateful. I wish you and your loved ones a safe and healthy Thanksgiving.
