Ada County Association of Realtors (ACAR) is guided by their mission to be valued by the real estate profession and the public, to protect private property rights, to better the communities in which they live, and to provide members with tools and resources to conduct their businesses professionally, ethically, and successfully. Last week ACAR’s Foundation honored the WCA’s grant request and provided $4,000 in funding to support the viability of the WCA’s safe shelter program. Leaving a domestic violence home/relationship can be a dangerous process, thus community support to ensure its availability is critically important. In addition to the grant request, ACAR”S Community Outreach committee provided $230.32 to the WCA. This represented excess funds raised from their backpack project for the homeless. Many thanks to ACAR and their vibrant membership for their support and kind hearts.
