Service Statement: The WCA offers wrap-around, trauma informed services to survivors of domestic abuse and sexual assault. All services are provided free of charge to the community.

Corporate Pillar Impact:

  • In the past 6 years, Corporate Pillars have contributed over $2 million in monetary and in-kind support to the WCA
  • Last fiscal year from July 2023 – June 2024, our Corporate Pillars contributed over $300,000 through monetary and in-kind pledges to the WCA

Helpful Statistics:

  • A non-consensual sex offense occurs every 5.8 seconds in Idaho
  • In 2023 the WCA provided:
    • 10,905 safe bed nights
    • 2.255 protection orders filed
    • 2,395 counseling sessions
    • Over 23,000 services
  • On a single day in Idaho 615 survivors of domestic abuse sought safety and services
  • 8 million days of paid work are estimated to be lost each year as a result of domestic violence in the U.S. (Bureau of Labor Services)
  • 71% of surveyed employees say it’s very important to work at a company that supports giving and volunteering (Re:charity 2023)
  • For every 100 women in your workplace, approximately 33 have experienced physical violence from an intimate partner (National Coalition Against Domestic Violence)
  • For every 100 men in your workplace, approximately 25 have experienced physical violence from an intimate partner (National Coalition Against Domestic Violence)
