Named Gift Opportunities

In appreciation of major commitments to the Women’s and Children’s Alliance, the following opportunities have been created to recognize leadership gifts to the Endowment Fund.

SHELTER STAKEHOLDER $1 MILLION (1 NAMING OPPORTUNITY)

Stakeholder knows that their named endowment will fund ongoing operations at Serena’s House, our secure shelter. This is the first step for any woman leaving a domestic violence situation as she must first provide for her own safety and that of her children.

COUNSELING CHAMPION—$500,000 (6 NAMING OPPORTUNITIES)

Counseling Champions cover the costs associated with three counselor positions, allowing the people in our programs to receive the counseling services they need regardless of their ability to pay.

CHILDREN’S SPONSOR—$250,000 (4 NAMING OPPORTUNITIES)

Children’s Sponsors will assure we can provide daily childcare for children while their mothers or fathers are in counseling or educational classes.

FRIENDS IN THE COURTROOM—$100,000 (10 NAMING OPPORTUNITIES)

Our Friends in the Courtroom make it possible for us to provide a daily presence at the Ada County Courthouse. Court advocates coordinate representation and support for people in family court to secure restraining orders, allow supervised visitation or make other family court services available.

LISTENING EAR—$50,000 (10 NAMING OPPORTUNITIES)

Our Listening Ears cover the cost of staffing two full-time information lines, one to answer calls related to domestic abuse and the other related to sexual assault. These lines are answered 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Your gift makes sure there is a listening ear available when someone has a question or really needs to talk.

GUIDING LIGHT—$25,000 (20 NAMING OPPORTUNITIES)

Guiding Lights will assure we can provide case management services to our clients. This ensures that our clients get the support they need to prepare and implement a road map to create a safe, secure future for themselves and their loved ones.

STAFF ADVOCATES—$10,000 (20 NAMING OPPORTUNITIES)

Staff Advocates cover the cost of providing essential training required by our uniquely qualified and licensed program staff so that our clients are assured of receiving the best services we can provide
