Annual Report and Annual Meeting

24-Hour Domestic Violence Hotline: 208.343.7025 24-hour Rape Crisis Hotline: 208.345.7273 (RAPE)

The annual report for the Women’s and Children’s Alliance was sent out to the community on September 8th this year and we are so grateful for the help we had in putting this together.

Our communications team put forth a tremendous effort in gathering and compiling the stories and information found in the report. This report would not be nearly as amazing if it was not for the in-kind creative services Schroeder Creative and upgrades in print type and paper stock from Capital Copy and Print. And, a special thanks to the volunteers who helped in mailing out the reports! This annual report is only possible because so many members of the community came together. Thank you to all involved in the process. Click here to view the PDF of the report online!

On October 8th The WCA hosted its annual meeting where the community and board learned about the services the WCA has provided over the last fiscal year, the financial health of the organization, and new members are elected to the Board of Directors. We would like to say thank you to the time, talent, and treasure that all members of our board provide. There are three new members coming to the board this year: Steven Berenter, Keli Elledge and Brandy Stemmler. We are also proud to announce the election of the following officers for the 2015-2016 term: Officers elected for the 2015-2016 term include:  Darrel Anderson – President; Bill Bodnar – President Elect; Debbie Wachtell – Vice President; Jan Bennetts – Secretary; Jodi Whittaker – Treasurer and Laura Cobb – Past President.  It is truly through working together that we are able to make a difference in our community and create a space were individuals are able to thrive in safe and healthy relationships.
