During the month of September, we are looking ahead to October, which is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. There are lots of activities to engage in, there are lots of opportunities to learn more about the work that we do, there are lots of ways that you can help us spread the word, arise awareness, because I truly believe that until more individuals in our community understand how pervasive and destructive domestic abuse is, we will not do what we need to do in order to change the conversation and create a healthy community for all of us.
