24-Hour Domestic Violence Hotline: 208.343.7025 24-hour Rape Crisis Hotline: 208.345.7273 (RAPE)

Thank you to our friends at Boise Sunrise Rotary for your ongoing support of the WCA.

The WCA received a $1,500 grant from the Rotary Club of Boise – Sunrise. This fantastic local club has provided funding to support crucial programming and safe shelter since 2017—both financially and through volunteer service.

This year, the club’s grant will help support our shelter operations, include supportive assistance and advocacy designed to promote each individual’s journey to self-sufficiency. This funding has been especially crucial in the wake of COVID-19, as the WCA experienced a 84% increase in domestic violence-related crisis calls in 2020 compared to 2019.

Rotary Club of Boise Sunrise is guided by its mission of building relationships and providing services locally and globally by investing their combined time, talent, and treasure. The WCA is grateful to Rotary Club of Boise Sunrise for its ongoing commitment to supporting the Treasure Valley’s most vulnerable residents.
