The Women’s and Children’s Alliance has a 120-Day Residential Program available to survivors who are fleeing domestic violence and/or sexual assault. This program provides individual case management, individual counseling, as well as an array of support and educational groups: nurturing families, connections, life skills, RAP (domestic violence) support group, and financial literacy. Childcare services are also provided to the women residing in our program.
Here is a comment from a residential client who completed our program and found safety, healing, and freedom from domestic violence.
“I feel that coming to the WCA was the hardest and best thing that I could have done. The classes and issues addressed were helpful on my journey through healing. I feel that I am starting to get my self-esteem and self-worth back. I never realized that fear controlled my life, now I can finally embrace it and face tomorrow.”
