Concert for Cause imageConcert for Cause on December 2 was a fabulous and magical night. Sponsored by The River 94.9 and The Knitting Factory, a sold out show by Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats was enjoyed by close to 1,000 enthusiastic guests.

A highlight of the evening’s festivities included live and silent auctions, which together helped raise over $37,000 for the WCA’s direct client services. This was the sixth year the WCA has been honored as Concert for Cause’s beneficiary.  The WCA would like to thank our great and compassionate friends at The River—the awesome Tresa Short, Tim Johnstone, Ken Bass, Deb Courson, Brook Bender, and Bob Rosenthal—for their tremendous assistance in making this event happen through auction item donations and fantastic on stage presence during the live auction.

Also a big shout out to auctioneer Kevin Troutt for making the live auction a huge success. And a special thanks to The Knitting Factory for hosting this great event and donating a percentage of ticket sales to the WCA’s clients’ needs. We are so privileged to have such phenomenal friends in the community.
