Corporate Pillar Spotlight

24-Hour Domestic Violence Hotline: 208.343.7025 24-hour Rape Crisis Hotline: 208.345.7273 (RAPE)

Lamar-logo-glossyOne of our marvelous Corporate Pillars is Lamar Advertising. This past October, Lamar created four special WCA messages and included these powerful words on digital billboards in the Boise area. We received great feedback on these words and we hope they inspired viewers to call for assistance with domestic violence issues and also get help for family members and friends in need.

When asked why Lamar supports the WCA Larry Alder, President of Lamar, says “In the Boise market area, where our inventory is limited and the demand from advertisers is high, we must be very selective in choosing the public service entities we support. That said, we feel strongly that the work being done by the WCA is not only necessary but vitally important to women and children impacted by domestic violence. Because of our digital billboard technology, Lamar has the flexibility and opportunity to support the WCA and raise awareness of the effects of domestic abuse. ”

We are extremely grateful for Lamar’s support of the WCA and our work in the community.
