Corporate Pillar Spotlight: Weekend BBQ

24-Hour Domestic Violence Hotline: 208.343.7025 24-hour Rape Crisis Hotline: 208.345.7273 (RAPE)

One of our newest WCA Corporate Pillars is Weekend BBQ Store at 6th & Main in Old Boise. Owners Anne and Sherman Leibow are strong supporters of the WCA.

“Before we even opened our doors, we decided we wanted to give back to this community, which has been so good to us since we moved here sixteen years ago,” says Anne Leibow, Owner, Weekend BBQ Store. “We decided to support the WCA because we believe in what this great organization does–to help people who may have nowhere else to go to find the safety and assistance they need, and to raise awareness on the very serious issue of domestic abuse.”

The Weekend BBQ Store is a new addition to the Old Boise downtown community. It opened its doors in November 2015 and sells state-of-the-art grills and smokers, such as Traeger and Kamado Joe, spices, rubs, sauces, fuel and other cool gear for the outdoor cooking enthusiast. They also offer a carefully selected assortment of craft beers and wines. Two-percent of all Weekend BBQ Store sales are donated to the WCA each quarter.

Thanks so very much to the Weekend BBQ store and the Leibows for their support of our work though corporate sponsorship.
