The Boise High Class of 1967 collected donations in memory of Carmen Cengotita Boyington, a beloved classmate who passed away. The name of the memorial they chose is “We Love Carmen.”
Mady Rothchild, who brought in the group’s check, said, “Carmen made everyone feel like a special friend.”
Carmen’s classmates wanted their donation of $2,675 to support children—especially to be used to benefit many children over the years. The donation will be used in children’s therapy and/or child care—services that nearly all of our small clients need. We are so excited to be able to use this wonderful gift to benefit so many children!
Thank you, BHS Class of ’67!
