Donor Spotlight: Tanner Stimpson

24-Hour Domestic Violence Hotline: 208.343.7025 24-hour Rape Crisis Hotline: 208.345.7273 (RAPE)

TannerFor his Eagle Scout award, local Boy Scout Tanner Stimpson collected bags of unclaimed clothes that have been left behind at local schools and donated them to our WCA Thrift Shop.

“First I talked to my elementary school,” he explained. “Then I contacted some schools in the West Ada school district.”

Schools gladly handed over lost and found items and Tanner and his friends sorted through all the clothing. Tanner and his mother, Abby, then washed all the clothes; more than 30 bags worth!

All of us at the WCA are so grateful and inspired by the work of this fantastic young man! At 14 years-old, he is already community minded and working to help the less fortunate in the Treasure Valley. Thank you, Tanner and Abby, for your hard work and thoughtfulness!
