Don’t Miss the 2014 Swap-A-Fair!

24-Hour Domestic Violence Hotline: 208.343.7025 24-hour Rape Crisis Hotline: 208.345.7273 (RAPE)

Mark your calendars for May 16 & 17 for the return of Boise’s premiere boutique swap meet, the Swap-A-Fair! The Swap encourages consumers to consider selecting quality pre-owned attire and decor, and re-circulating items in good condition, before purchasing new merchandise.

RubySwap-shopping is an eco-savvy and wallet-friendly alternative:

  • Pare Down. Save your no-longer-wanted women’s and children’s clothing, accessories, books & media, and décor. (Gently used items in good condition, please.)
  • Trade In. Bring your donated merchandise with you to the Swap to share.
  • Trade Up. For a nominal admission fee, claim an unlimited amount of new-to-you merchandise at no additional cost.

The Swap-A-Fair was launched in 2012 by two Saint Alphonsus employees to support the WCA, because women’s personal safety, and their health and wellness, are inseparable. The Swap also increases awareness of how our consumerism impacts the environment. And, for the first time, the 2014 event will feature children’s clothing, in addition to women’s clothing and household items.
