The FitMania World’s Biggest Boot Camp on August 16th at Julia Davis was phenomenal! Over 300 participants enjoyed going through an absolutely fun group workout, while also benefitting the Women’s and Children’s Alliance. This fabulous morning was created by the FitMania team.
“At first glance it may seem like FitMania Boot Camps and the Women and Children’s Alliance do not have much in common but for me it is all the same work. We are empowering people. If fitness was just about looking good at the beach it wouldn’t interest me very much. When people become stronger physically, spiritually, emotionally or mentally it spills over into the other areas and their whole lives improve. In my experience helping people become stronger can really only be done one person at a time. The work of FitMania or the WCA is to facilitate personal strength one person at a time,” said FitMania owner Sherry Fernandez.
Sponsors included: Fitmania; Concrete Construction Supply; A-J Awards, Inc; Award Amex; Boise Family Chiropractic; Bryan H. Lamb Dentistry; Cumulus Radio; Dayton Superior; Eide Bailly, LLP; Goodwill Finance, LLC; H.P.I.P.; Kraft Tool Company; PR Diamond Products, Inc; Prime Source; Umpqua Bank; and Sage Healthcare, PLLC.
Over $7,000 was raised, to be used for the WCA’s direct support to clients.
We extend our utmost gratitude to FitMania for its support of the WCA’s work in the community.
