A client’s letter of thanks during this season of Thanksgiving

“I wanted to say thank you for being able to accept me into this program.  When I first came I could say I needed so much help in talking, coping with all that had happened in my past.  The counseling has helped me with talking about my emotions and all the times that were bad that you choose to leave out or try to forget.  Slowly but surely, the wounds are healing.  From the time I first came in ‘til now that I’m leaving, I’ve become a stronger, brighter, more confident person.  I’m so proud and it’s been amazing to have taken the hardest step that I thought would be impossible.  I want to say from my girls and myself, thank you so very much for this program.  This program really helped me, and my children have been so much happier.  The staff were more than just helpful, patient, and all.  When times felt like all hell broke loose, there was also someone and resources that were given by staff.  Advices, concerns on all parts.  I don’t think us ladies (residents) stop and take the time to thank all the staff for all their help and all they do.  So I am.  Everyone that works for this program, I want to thank you all for all you do for many, many, many families and ladies that come through seeking help.  Your such amazing big hearts make a difference in this world for sure.  Rest assured, for in my family’s life all of you have made a big, better difference in ours.”
