Let’s Ride
On Saturday, September 13th, The Ladies of Harley – Hawley Owners group will be sponsoring a special ride to benefit the Women’s and Children’s Alliance. The ride, sponsored by High Desert Harley Davidson, will start at the High Desert Harley-Davidson store, 2310 E. Cinema Drive in Meridian.
The ride will also honor the memory of Selena Thomas, the young woman in Nampa whose recent tragic death is believed to be a product of domestic violence at the hands of her boyfriend.
- Registration is from 11 a.m. – noon.
- Kickstands up at 12:30 p.m.
- The route is the Black Canyon Loop
The ride will be followed by a delicious spaghetti lunch (provided with registration) along with great silent auction items and a raffle. The registration fee is $20 and all donations are accepted.
“The work of the WCA is important to me. I was a single mom for quite a few years and want to give back to help other struggling families. My kids are grown now and feel lucky for the things I have learned in my career,” said Shelley Burns, chair of the event and WCA Ambassador.
If you can’t make it to the event but would still like to make a donation to the WCA, you can do so on the registration page. The group is also currently taking donations of much needed items for the shelter at High Desert Harley-Davidson!
Registration for the ride can be done day of the event or by going to the online site:
