Annual Volunteer-A-ThonA group of 25 volunteers from the Junior League of Boise came down to the Washington Street location of the WCA on a sunny Saturday in January to lend a hand. The group was part of a larger effort by the JLB for their annual community Volunteer-A-Thon that also had teams helping out at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho, and Metro Meals on Wheels.
The group spent close to three hours deep cleaning the toys in our childcare and front lobby lending a hand cleaning and organizing the household room in the The Shop at WCA North End.
The Junior League of Boise is an organization of women committed to promoted voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
