Supporting Our Clients: Boise Vista Lions

24-Hour Domestic Violence Hotline: 208.343.7025 24-hour Rape Crisis Hotline: 208.345.7273 (RAPE)

Boise Vista LionsAfter Phil Toomey of the Boise Vista Lions Club organized a Tour in a Box for their June meeting, many members were asking “what else can we do to help?” The Lions’ Sight and Hearing Foundation has partnered with the WCA for years, providing glasses to clients. But now, Lion Ashley Seymour, requested of the club that they assist with our clients’ food needs as well.

Ashley’s daughter is the owner of Brooke & Bradford, a company specializing in sea salts, teas, peppercorns, kitchenware, and freeze-dried, gluten-free soups. The idea started with the excited Lion requesting that Philanthropy Specialist, Megan Wilson, try one of his daughter’s soups and decide on a next step. After licking her lips and tagging the company in an Instagram post highlighting the delicious soup, Megan called Ashley to get his feedback of the Tour in a Box, eager to inform him of her taste-buds’ approval.

We are so grateful that the Boise Vista Lions Club decided to purchase over 100, gluten-free soups to expand the options in our client pantry. If you would like to try one for yourself, visit www.brookeandbradford.com. Save 25% by using code: BOISE25.
