On February 12, WCA staff members had the pleasure of visiting Eliza Hart Spalding, STEM Academy to collect donations from two separate first grade classes. Students in Ms. Hammel’s and Ms. Overton’s classes decorated pillowcases as part of their Valentine’s Day party. When asked why they wanted to donate students mentioned how the children we serve should have something of their own for their bedrooms. We loved looking at the designs these creative kiddos did and are so impressed by their generosity.
