Supporting Our Clients: Shades of Blue Contest

24-Hour Domestic Violence Hotline: 208.343.7025 24-hour Rape Crisis Hotline: 208.345.7273 (RAPE)

10537024_10153088582395588_1429388266313430830_nFrom September 18th to October 9th the community had the opportunity to participate in the Shades of Blue social giving campaign from Blue Cross of Idaho. In this campaign three local artists created original art for their favorite charities and members of our community could vote for their favorite art piece and corresponding charity. We are grateful for WCA Supporter Chad Case, of Chad Case Photography, who submitted a one of a kind piece for the WCA. The winner of the campaign was given $1,000 and the art piece. Other artists and charities participating were Julia Green Illustration supporting Create Common Good and The Art of Ward Hooper for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho. The winner was the Ronald McDonald House, but we did get Chad’s beautiful photo! Thank you to the great support from Blue Cross, Chad Chase Photography, and all of those who voted. We truly live in a community where everyone wants to give back.
