A wonderful gift arrived at the WCA this week! It was a bequest from a special lady, Beverly Miller. Her $100,000 donation went into our Endowment Fund, and Beverly will be memorialized for her generosity to our mission. Her bequest will go a great way in helping us reach our endowment goal of $10 million.

Some donors, like Beverly, choose to contribute to make a difference by donating to the Endowment Fund, the objective of which is to provide funds in perpetuity for the operation of all WCA programs providing safety, healing and freedom.  These gifts help ensure that much-needed programs have a sustainable source less dependent on annual grants.  These gifts are also a wonderful way to create a memorial to a loved one or a legacy for you.

There are many ways to contribute to the Endowment Fund.  Cash donations are one way, of course, but many donors make planned gifts through their wills and then become members of our Heritage Society.  For more information about the Endowment Fund and the ways donors can contribute, our website has more information here.
