Another Kind of Giving
In-kind donations are gifts of goods or services that are in lieu of, or accompany, financial contributions or cash grants. The clients of the Women’s and Children’s Alliance, as well as the staff and supporters, benefit greatly throughout the year from many types of in-kind donations from individuals, groups and companies in our community.
Examples of in-kind gifts include goods such as canned food, clothing, furniture, office supplies, diapers and personal care items. In-kind gifts may also include professional services such as moving services, printing services, and graphic design services.
These types of contributions not only help the WCA provide the critical direct client services to those impacted by domestic abuse and sexual assault, but also help increase our reach in the community and advance our efforts for education and prevention.
