It’s been “Baby Central” at the shelter lately!  While staying at Serena’s House, six moms have had new babies in the last three months, which is a record in recent memory.  What’s especially exciting is that several of these moms and their children (including the newest arrival) will soon be moving to a new home of their own.  Of course, that means mom will need some important new-baby furnishings—such as a crib, mattress, and bedding—all of them brand new for their new home.  Thanks to wonderful donors who especially love to help children, all of these new items have been delivered to give these families a happy boost in their journey to a healthy life.

Of course, with all those babies at the shelter, we have gone through a tremendous supply of baby wipes.  We can use lots more!  If you’ve had a baby around recently, I know you’ll understand!

If you’d like to help, you can drop off packages of baby wipes to our downtown office at 720 W. Washington between 8am-4pm.  I know they’ll come in very handy!
