Each month we offer special on-site tours we call “If These Walls Could Talk.” One of the areas we pay special attention to on the tour are about children who are affected by domestic abuse in their homes. Some of them arrive at the shelter with their moms; others are brought in from the community to meet with one of our children’s counselors. Whether it’s counseling or specialized child care, children receive services that are very helpful in their healing. I’d encourage you to come to one of our tours.
