As we start to transition into winter, we know what to expect. Cold temperatures, snow and winter activities. While we know what is coming, there is uncertainly for some. For those who are seeking our services, this is also a time of transition. Even though they are uncertain about their future, they are certain they know that the abuse they have endured must stop/end. Our court advocate team has been working hard to help start this transition for some seeking our services. In the month of August, at the Ada County Courthouse, 197 individuals filed protection orders. That is the highest we’ve seen and an indicator that home is still not safe for everyone. We are open and we are available to help. Please call 208.343.7025, if you or someone you know needs our assistance.
