Upcoming Event: Evening at the Oscars

unnamedOn Sunday evening February 22 The Women’s and Children’s Alliance will be the beneficiary of a very special event, “Evening at the Oscar” at the Village Cinema in Meridian. We are thrilled about this wonderful evening and we cordially invite you to join us.

We asked Ramona Merrill, Regional Marketing Manager at the Village at Meridian why they chose the WCA as the beneficiary of this marvelous event, she said, “The Village at Meridian, Journal Broadcasting and Village Cinema are proud to support the WCA with our Evening at the Oscars Event. It is important for us to be good neighbors and partners in the community. WCA does such incredible work for women and children in need, and we knew that they would put the money to good use. The Evening at the Oscars allows local businesses and couples an opportunity to walk the red carpet, mingle with the KIVI news team anchors and watch the Oscars live in a gorgeous setting, Village Cinema and Backstage Bistro. The buffet, prizes and elegance of the evening will be well worth the ticket price, and knowing that a portion of the funds will go directly to the WCA makes to decision to attend easy. We hope to see huge support for the WCA and a great turnout for The Evening at the Oscars event.”

The $50 ticket price includes delicious appetizers, a buffet, special beverages, a wonderful silent auction and special prizes. Tickets are $50 per person. For more information and to purchase tickets, please go here.

We thank The Village at Meridian, Journal Broadcasting and The Village Cinema for its incredible support and compassion for the WCA’s work in the community.
